Old City Loft

In the late 80s and early 90s, as technology changed the world, superfluous industrial and commercial space in may of the major cities gave birth to a new kind of residential dwelling; the scale open-plan layouts made the loft popular, particularly with artists and architects, who quickly turned these spaces into microcosms in which they could both live and work. Lofts is a stunning collection of the most innovative lofts on the planet together with full-color photographs, floor plans and explanatory texts.
